MERCER ISLAND FARMERS MARKET — Every Sunday, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM | Through October 11, 2026 | 7700 SE 32nd Street, Mercer Island, WA 98040

The Farmers Market is the heartbeat of island community life all summer long. Running every Sunday from late May through mid-October, you'll find certified organic produce, artisan food vendors, handcrafted goods, and live music every single week. The market runs rain or shine, so bring your tote bag and your appetite.

MERCER ISLAND SUMMER CELEBRATION — Saturday, July 11, 2026 | 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM | Mercerdale Park & Luther Burbank Park

The biggest community day of the year. Summer Celebration 2026 is an all-day spectacular featuring parades, live performances, kids' activities, food trucks, and a fireworks finale — all free and open to the public. Here's how the day breaks down:

The Community Parade kicks off at 10:00 AM, starting at SE 27th St. & 78th Ave SE and rolling down to Mercerdale Park. Arrive by 9:30 AM to grab a curb spot. From 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Mercerdale Park: live music from The Pioneer Squares Band, a circus and kids' zone, foam party and bubble stations, mini golf, Youth Theatre Northwest performances, and magic from Brian Ledbetter. Touch-a-Truck, community booths, art vendors, and food trucks round out the afternoon.

When the sun goes down, the party moves to Luther Burbank Park. Starting at 6:00 PM: live music from the Copastetic Band, stilt walkers, food trucks, and the grand finale — fireworks over the water. Bring a blanket and claim your spot on the park lawn early. Parking fills fast; biking or walking is the move if you live nearby. Limited paid parking is available at the Community Center.

IN A LANDSCAPE: MERCER ISLAND — Tuesday, July 21, 2026 | 6:00 PM | Luther Burbank Park

IN A LANDSCAPE is a roving outdoor piano series bringing intimate solo piano performances to parks and public spaces across the country. The Mercer Island edition takes place at Luther Burbank Park — a uniquely beautiful setting for an evening of classical and contemporary piano music surrounded by trees and waterfront views. Bring a blanket or low-back chair and settle in. Admission is free.

MOSTLY MUSIC IN THE PARK — Thursdays in July & August | 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM | Mercerdale Park, Downtown Mercer Island

Now in its popular annual return, Mostly Music in the Park brings free live outdoor concerts to Mercerdale Park on Thursday evenings all summer long. Pack a picnic dinner, a few low-back chairs, and the family. Thursday, July 30 at 6:30 PM is a confirmed date on the schedule. The rotating lineup features local and regional acts spanning jazz, folk, rock, blues, and more. The Wooden O / Seattle Shakespeare Company returns to the Luther Burbank Amphitheater for another summer season of free, outdoor classical theatre.
